The 2023 Ford Transit offers two engine options: a 3.5-liter V6 with 275 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque and a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. The standard transmission is a 10-speed automatic and the Transit can be equipped with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. With the base engine, the Transit can tow up to 7,500 pounds and has a maximum payload of 4,290 pounds. When equipped with the EcoBoost engine, towing capacity increases to 9,500 pounds and payload capacity rises to 5,275 pounds. In terms of performance, the Transit accelerates from 0-60 mph in about 10 seconds with the base engine and about 8 seconds with the EcoBoost engine. Top speed is electronically limited to 75 mph.
